In 2023, Shaykh Dr. Nadeem Qureshi led an educational and spiritual journey through Iraq and Egypt, visiting sites of deep significance in Islamic history and the lives of the awliya. For those who traveled, it was a journey that combined learning, ziyarah, and remembrance of Allah SWT.
Iraq: In the Footsteps of the Awliya
The group visited sites connected to the great scholars and saints of Iraq, reflecting on their lives, their sacrifices, and their lasting contribution to Islamic knowledge and spirituality.
Egypt: Al-Azhar and the Legacy of Knowledge
In Egypt, the group explored centers of Islamic learning and history, including sites tied to centuries of scholarship, and reflected on the enduring legacy of knowledge passed down through the generations.
May Allah SWT accept this journey from all who took part, and grant us all the ability to walk in the footsteps of those who came before us in knowledge and sincerity.
